The question posed in this blog post is one which has consumed my life since shortly after the attacks upon the WTC on 9-11-2001. Certainly, one could easily look at world events and say with full clarity "yes the world appears to be ending." Prophets of doom abound, and are making quite a fortune (amazing considering they are announcing the end of humanity. One wonders why they do not simply offer their prophecy for free) selling books, creating web sites, or going on talk shows warning about 2012, the Illuminati, the NWO, and on and on. And with the Gulf Oil Spill threatening to bring devastation to larger parts of the US, I ask is this the end?
I can honestly say no, and the reason is because the Bible, which so many people use as their authoritative text on the so-called end times, proclaimed that the end had come and gone during Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. When Jesus said, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand," he meant it was coming NOW, in his lifetime, not in 2000 years. So what we are seeing in our day is not an end, nor is it a beginning, but is instead the final act in a play that has been ongoing for centuries. The ancient power which has contended with God, and which used the power of Rome and Jerusalem to destroy Jesus is dying, and what is rising is a new consciousness among people of what Christ did, and how he opened the "Gates of Heaven" for them and empowered them to become Children of God. What we are witnessing is the Beast (oppression of the weak by the strong through governmental means) and the False Prophet (false religion, false messianism) being thrown into the Lake of Fire. that Lake of Fire is the vibrational change within Earth's dimension, and is the culmination of the Christ Event of 2000 years ago. Christ is returning, through his people in all faiths, countries, cultures, dimensions, universes, etc. This is nothing new, it has been building for centuries and is finally coming to a close. Get ready, because the ride is going to be incredible!
